Heather and I are planning a ride on Sunday May 22nd starting in Armstrong. We plan to meet at the Village Cheese Co. for a 10:30 AM start. Our planned route is as follows:
WPOC - (Weather Pending Of Course) - Check your email for a possible update on Sunday Morning.
- Heywood-Armstrong Road to Salmon River Road, then south to Hwy 97
- Hwy 97 to Barnhartvale Road
- Barnhartvale Road and Campbell Creek Road to Hwy 5A
- Hwy 5A south to Merritt for a lunch stop. (I'm thinking The Grand Pub & Grill, but I'm open to suggestions.)
- From Merritt we'll head west on Hwy 8 then north on Hwy 97A - Mamit Lake Road to Logan Lake.
- We'll carry on north from Logan Lake on Tunkwa Lake Rd to Savona
- East on Hwy 1 back through Kamloops where we'll pick up Barnhartvale Road again on the way home.
WPOC - (Weather Pending Of Course) - Check your email for a possible update on Sunday Morning.

Awesome Ride Yesterday! Great weather and great friends. Other that the hour spent trying to get through Falkland on the way home it was a perfect day. Lesson learned - avoid Falkland on the May long weekend. 568 Km in all according to my GPS.
